Directions Questions and Research
Consider what you need to know based on what you learned about your students' needs during the empathy phase. Consider the following questions:
What further information do you need based on what you learned about student needs?
What skills might students need help developing in order to research effectively?
How might you best support the development of skills and student learning based on those student needs?
Possible Resources - Record information in the Scaffold Possibilities section of your scaffold.
Which scaffolds did you find interesting that you would like to try in your classroom for purposes other than research?
What steps of the DTI did you take part in today?
What strategies were used to scaffold that process?
How might you use one of the scaffolds you researched in your classroom?
What is one thing you want to take back to your classroom and use?
